Thorlux Carbon Offsetting Project

In 2009, our supplier Thorlux launched an ambitious project to reduce and offset carbon emissions in the form of a tree planting programme. To date, 165,687 trees have been planted with further plans to plant a total of 179,412 trees which will store more than 44,385 tonnes of Co2 over a period of 100 years.

By planting trees, you also help reduce deforestation, which is one of the biggest sources of CO2 emissions. When trees are cut down or burned, the carbon is released into the atmosphere as CO2. By planting more trees and preserving existing forest areas, you help counteract this process.
